ANOTHER MEETING WITH HITLER
CONSULTATION ON RELATIONS. CHAMBERLAIN’S EXPECTATIONS. (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 30. A Munich report states that Mr Chamberlain told press representatives before leaving that German occupation of Czechoslovakia would start to-mor-row afternoon and evening. Mr Chamberlain said: “I talked with the Fuhrer from 11.30 a.m. until 1 p.m. As a result both signed a declaration that we had had a very full discussion of the European situation.” He added that there would be a meeting of the international commission in the afternoon. The commission will go to Sudetenland to-morrow if occasion arises. “The Fuhrer and I will certainly meet again,” said Mr Chamberlain, “because we decided our relations by consultation.”
Tremendous cheers, and cries of “Heil, Herr Chamberlain,” accompanied by an array of arms thrust out in the Nazi salute, followed Mr Cham-' berlain, who was accompanied by Herr ron Ribbentrop, from his hotel to the airport, where there was wave after ware of cheering by hundreds of schoolchildren who had been given a holiday. Mr Chamberlain shook hands and bade farewell to Herr von Ribbentrop, to which Heir von Ribbentrop replied: “Give mv regards to Lord Halifax and Mrs Chamberlain. ’’ Mr Chamberlain said: “Well, goodbye, Ribbentrop. We’ve all liad a share of it ” FRENCH TRIBUTE PROPOSED. HOUSE FOR. MR CHAMBERLAIN. (Received This Day, 11.35 a-.m.) PARIS, September 30. The newspaper “Soi-H” has opened a subscription list to buy Mr Chamberlain a house near a fishing resort in France, to be named Maison “Delapaix.”
