I' - (Received This Day, 1.5 p.m.) LONDON, September 27. j • The Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says that wellinformed circles fear that, failing acceptance of the German ultimatum by 2 p.m. to-morrow Herr Hitler’s troops will march against Czechoslovakia on Thursday morning,, this being accompanied by general mobilisation.
The exodus of foreigners is proceeding at full speed, including many Britons, the wives and children of the Embassy staffsThe Berlin correspondent of “The Times” says that the Official News Agency states that the Sudeten areas of Asch, Schluckenau and Itumberg have been cleared of Czech and Communist bands cut off from the rest of Czechoslovakia and are wholly controlled by the German Sudeten Party. The post offices are working only with Germany.
