FRENCH PROFESSIONAL TITLE. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) PARIS, September 11. In the final of the French professional tennis championship Nusslein defeated W. T. Tilden (U.S.A.), 6-0, 6-1, 6-1. In' the final of the doubles Ramillon and Plan beat Tilden and Nusslein, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, 64. AMERICAN SINGLES TOURNAMENT. (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) NEW YORK, September 11. The United States lawn tennis singles championship- tournament was continued to-day. Matches resulted: A. K. Quist (Australia) beat Rallagh 3-6, 6-3, 6-4, 6-3. H C. Hopman (Australia) beat Coolie, 6-2, 4-6, 6-4, 10-8. Miss Covne (Australia) beat Miss Hirsch, 6-1, 6-0.
