ASHBURTON COUNTY RACING CLUB. THE NOVICE STAKES. The committee of the Ashburton County Racing Club lias decided that, in the event of the Novice Stakes next Saturday being run in two divisions the stake be increased by £4O. Each division will carry £2O extra. QUEST .PENALISED. Quest lias been penalised 72 yards, and is now 108 yards behind in the Selma Trot Handicap to be run at the Ashburton County Racing Club’s spring meeting on Saturday.
