VERY HEAVY RAIN.
FLOODS AT MASTE'RTON. (Per Press Association.) MASTERTON, September 9. Heavy rain fell in Masterton fast night and this morning, flooding the streets. In the country much, lowlying land is under water. Many roads are blocked with slips. Considerable damage was done in outlying districts', where more than three inches of rain’ were recorded in a few hours.
