STAR OF SILENT FILMS. FORTUNE TO WEALTHY GREEK. LONDON, August 31. Leaving only a dollar each to her brother and sister, Pearl White, who was a star of the silent films, bequeathed the bulk of her £IOO,OOO fortune, including jewels and cars, to a wealthy Greek, Theodore Cozzika, who had been her inseparable companion for 12 years. Known in Egypt as the “Commercial Alcohol King,’’ Cozzika lived at Cairo, where in 1926, he met Pearl, then starring in a musical show. They became close friends.
