A Munich message states that 100,000 Nazis ascended the Hesselberg “sacred mountain” to witness General Streicher light a giant bonfire to proclaim “a Nordic religion.” General Streicher declared that God accompanied Germany thousands of years before churches existed. The Germans, in future, would climb the holy mountain, instead of going to church, when tliey feel the need of worship. If foreigners of good Nordic blood ascend the mountain they will be purified and enabled to understand the power inspiring Germany. ATTACK ON THE CHURCH.
