BIBLE CELEBRATION.

, ADDRESSES AT THE SCHOOLS. Addresses will bo given at the Technical and High Schools as part oi the commemoration services this month in connection with the quater-centenary of the placing of the English Bible in the churches of England. This decision was reached fit the monthly meeting of the Ashburton Ministers’ Association, when the president (Major D. B. Duggan) presided. A letter was received from the Upper Winchniore Public Works, Camp expressing appreciation of the Sunday services held there recently by the Association. The Returned Soldiers’ Association wrote thanking the Association for its assistance at the Auzac Day ser--9 vices. An invitation was received to attend the service at the new Wakanui Methodist Church next Saturday, when the foundation stone will be laid. The president was appointed to represent the Association at the jubilee services of the Church of Christ on July 9
