DISAGREEMENT WITH A GIRL. (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. That death was due jto poison selfadministered was the Coroner’s verdict at an inquest this morning on Victor Charles Whittaker, a single man, aged 21, a farm labourer employed near Gore. Deceased’s married sister deposed that he went to her house last Sunday, looking depressed, stating he had had a disagreement with a girl with whom he had been keeping company at a place near Gere. Yesterday she went to town, leaving him alone in the house.

The police evidence disclosed the finding of a .bottle of poison and a letter expressing intention to commmit suicide.
