The New Zealand athletic, swimming, boxing and rifle teams, who will compete in the Empire Games, also the women’s cricket team were in good form on arrival by the Wanganella, although some had seldom left their hunks during the voyage. The riflemen proceeded immediately to the Liverpool rifle range and the athletes went to the Empire Games village.
