MOTOR VEHICLES.
REGISTRATIONS TOTAL 266,382. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 19. There was a large increase in the number of motor vehicles licensed in New Zealand last year, the total at December 31 being 265,362. The Post-master-General (the Hon. F. Jones), in an interview today, said this represented an increase of 25,129 or more than 10 per cent. on. the corresponding registrations for the previous year. Motor-cycle licenses decreased by more than 1100, or fully 5 per cent.
