SOUTH SEA ISLAND MANDATE. THE FIXED POLICY OF JAPAN. AN OFFICIAL INTIMATION. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 12.15 p.m.) LONDON, November 28. The Tokio correspondent of “The Times” reports that the Anglo-German conversations brought a prompt official intimation that Japan Avill return none of the German colonies received under the Treaty of Versailles. The Vice-Minister for Overseas Affairs said: “The maintenance of the Japanese mandate in the South Sea Islands is the established policy. of this empire.”
