NEW SENATE.

IRISH FREE STATE PLAN. CORPORATIVE REPRESENTATION (United Press .Association—Copyright.) DUBLIN, November 27. The Irish Government’s plan for a new Senate places it on a corporative basis. Of 66 members, 11 will be nominated by the president, six by the universities, 21 elected by the Dail, and 22 by registered vocational bodies. Candidates will be preferentially elected through five panels, representing cultural, agricultural, labour, industrial, an,d administrative interests. Voting will be through an electoral college formed of members of the Dail and county councillors.
