BIGAMY AND ASSAULT.
FOUR YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT. (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, February 26. William Joseph Fox, who admitted bigamy, and was found guilty of aggravated assault on two police officers, was to-day sentenced to two years’ imprisonment with hard labour, and two years’ reformative detention. He had been acquitted on a charge of attempting to murder .Detective P. Kearney.
