GOOD SALE OF HORSES. USEFUL ENTRY OF DRAUGHTS. A good sale Avas effected by the National Mortgage and Agency Company at its monthly horse fair this afternoon. A useful type of draught avus entered, and the horses Avere cleared at prices Avhich, considering all conditions, Avere extremely satisfactory. The largest amount realised Avas for a five-year-old gelding. Avliich sold at £47. The entry Avas particularly large, and there Avas a good attendance. Prices realised wore:

Geldings—Five years £47, 6yrs £4o 10s, Byrs £32, 9yrs £3O, Byrs £3l and £3l, lOyrs £22, syrs £32, 7yrs £29, syrs £37, 6vrs £42 10s, aged £l9, £lB and £8 10s, lOyrs £9 and £7, syrs £27 10s, 9vrs £27. PASSED AT £2O AN ACRE. FLEMINGTON FARM NOT SOLD. A farm of 98 acres at I lemington, which Avas offered at auction in the Farmers’ Auction Mart to-day, Avas passed in at £2O an ' acre. Bidding started before a small attendance at £l7 10s an acre. The farm avus offered, by the NeAV Zealand Farmers’ Co-operath-e Associationi under instructions from the Public Trustee in the Estate of Mr Luskey It. Hambly. Crops on the land, which Is of good quality, are at present divided between Avheat ana perennial ryegrass, and buildings and outhouses were offered in conjunction with the property.
