The British Army team competing at the American National Horse Show at New York won the international military team championship, in which milltary tGcims from seven nations A\eic competing before an audience of 16,000. The feat was accomplished with four horses bought from English farmers, not one costing more than £6O. Lieutenant Talbot Ponsonby, who won the three chief individual events, was a member of the winning team. His horse which jumped 69 successive fences on two evenings, with only one fault, once pulled a plough.—British Official W ireless.
