'FIFTY MILES CHAMPIONSHIP. CHRISTCHURCH, August 22. The 50 miles Canterbury amateur cycling championship was won by H. C. AVilliams in 2hrs 3min 4sec. Nearly 80 riders took part. Riding off scratch F. J. Grose secured fastest tme—2hrs Omin ssee.
