The Government has opened lists for volunteers to go to Abyssinia to replace the campaigners and keep up the strength of the forces in readiness for a new pacification campaign when the ,rainy season ends. Volunteers must enlist for a minimum of two years, hut attractive terms are being offered. Italy is at present repatriating six divisions, totalling 90,000, and is ar ranging for the return of another 40,0000.
