MINIATURE RIFLES.
MOUNT SOMERS CLUB. The weekly shoot of the Mount Somers Miniature Rifle Club was again well attended, when the first shoot of the No. 4 trophy was fired, in conjunction with shoots for other cups and trophies. Best scores off the rifle were:— Seniors: G. A. Bland 78, 76, Miss K. Bland 77, 74, H. Hood 77, 74, W. Morgan 76, 73, R. Carson 75, G. Morgan 74, H. Morgan 73, 72, L. Morgan 73, 72, I. Tyler 68, 62, B. Hood 66, N. Rogers 65,63, L. P. Chapman 62. Juniors: Mrs W. MeClimont 76, 68, W. Reveley 75, 73, D. Stephen 73, J. Hepburn 73, 64, M. Wightman 72, 60, Miss B. Stephen 72, J. Harris 67, Miss T. Morgan 65, W. Stephen 63. For the No. 3 trophy, L. Hood, L. Morgan, E. Doonan, and N. Rogers tied, and shoot-off. Miss B. Stephen and J. Hepburn tied in the junior section, and also shoot-off. With 12 shoots completed, leading scores for the Lincoln Hills Junior Cup are:—W. Reveley 869, L. Morgan 843, W. Stephen 834. With 15 shoots completed, leading scores for the Woolmers Cup are:— L. Hood 1167, R. Carson 1158, H. Hood 1156, Miss K. Bland 1154, G. Bland 1153, G. Morgan 1149, H. Morgan 1146.
