THE METHVEN CLUB. The monthly medal match of the Methven Golf Club was held on the Mount Harding links. D. S. Smith, with a net 74, was the winner. The following were the best cards returned:—

The Ladies’ Club played the second round of the Ward rose bowl competition. The best scores were:—Mi's M. Stone 78 net, Miss O. Holmes 81 net, Miss R. Waddington 82 net. In the second round of the club championship Miss C. Holmes beat Miss E. Stone by default, Miss R. Waddington beat Mrs Adams, Miss N. Holmes beat Mrs White, Miss Ngaire Campbell beat Mrs A. Lawrence.
