DISiTRICT HIGH SCHOOL URGED. The question of establishing :1 Distriet High School in the district will he considered at a meeting of parents of the Eiffelton and Lowclifi'e districts, to he held at Lowcliffe on Mondnpv evening. The. isolation od’ the children of the two districts from Ashb-urton secondary Schools has been causing the parents some concern, and at the mmlml meeting of householders at E‘iffe-lton it was recommended that the Canterbury Edmention Board he asked to consider establishing; a district High School in the district. The Board nmminted Mr Stanley Smith to report on the matter, and on Monday evening he will add-rsss parents and explain the position.
