SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIP

In the snooker championship, Joe Davis beat Horace Lindrum by 34 games to 27, retaining liis title. It was a great struggle, in which D'avis took the lead for the second time in the match during tine afternoon, and playing magnificently, was victorious in all six games at the evening session.
