FAIRFIELD JUNIOR AVERAGES The Fairfield junior cricket club, which won the Ashburton County Cricket Association’s junior competition this year, played 14 games. The number of innings totalled 14. Twelve matches were won, one lost and one drawn. The club had six outright wins, and six wins on the first innings. The number of runs scored totalled 2398, the average fo reach innings was 171.2. The m mber of batsmen’s innings was US, and the total not out innings 26. The average highest score was 54.7, and the average score 26. Batting averages were:—
