ST. JAMES THEATRE. “Red Salute” Avill have its final screening at the St. James Theatre to-night. The featured players are Barbara Stamvyck and Robert Young. The story is laid in Mexico, Avhere* tAvo young lovers Avent over the border and found they could not get back. There is an amusing side to the tale. ShoAving to-morroAV and on Wednesday there Avill be “Murder in the Fleet,” a tale of a battleship at the mercy of a fiend. Robert Taylor and Jean Parker are the featured players. The story deals Avith murders on board, visitors and crew impounded Avhile a young lieutenant turns detective, trails a killer, and after a desperate fight corners him. One of the big thrills is Avhere the criminal is trapped in a flooded poAvder magazine, Avliile the lives of thousands of sailors hang by a thread. It tells of the conflicts of the crusading days, the battles that decided the course of Western civilisation. There are many thrilling scenes in the film, and there are some outstanding scenic shots.
