TWELVE INDIAN VILLAGERS. SCORES OF OTHERS INJURED. United Press Association—Copyright) CALCUTTA, February 24. Twelve persons have been killed and scores were injured by a hyena which is terrorising villages in the Bijnor district, United Provinces. The hyena daringly enters huts, seizes children and devours them in the woods. It also killed an aged Hindu priest. European and Indian hunters organised search parties, but without success. The police have offered a large reward to the person who kills the hyena.
