Mr Angus MacTnnis (Commonwealth Federation) gave notice of a resolution granting the franchise to all orientals or to exclude them. “If an Oriental were good enough to be a resident, he was good enough to vote,” said Mr Maclnnes.” If be were not good enough he should he elsewhere.
