' COMPULSORY VOTING URGED. (United Press Association—Copyright.) OTTAWA, February 10. Compulsory voting, with limitation of election expenses wore advocated by Mr R. B. Bennett (ex-Premier) in reply to the speech from the Throne. The trade treaty with the United States was attacked as improvident. Mr Angus MacTnnis (Commonwealth Federation) gave notice of a resolution granting the franchise to all orientals or to exclude them. “If an Oriental were good enough to be a resident, he was good enough to vote,” said Mr Maclnnes.” If be were not good enough he should he elsewhere.
