NEW BRIDGE WRECKED
FLOOD DAMAGE IN WANGANUI. £20,000 IN ROADS AND BRIDGES. (Per Press Association). WANGANUI, This Day. Advice from Jerusalem, a settlement up the Wanganui River, states that the 90-foot bridge erected last year was carried away by the recent floods. It is roughly estimated that the damage to roads and bridges alone in Wanganui County will aggregate £20,000.
