BRITAIN’S STEEL INDUSTRY.' HEAVY IMPORTS OF ORE. (United Press Association —Copyright.) LONDON, February 3. The great activity of the British steel industry, in which production is at a record level, is shown by the report of the commissioners that imports of foreign ore in January were double those in December, the figures being 5263 and 2513 tons respectively.
