The opinion of the House of Lords will be tested to-day on a question which was much discussed during the recent trial of Lord d© Clifford on a charge of manslaughter arising out of a motor collision, heard, in accordance with ancient privilege, before the House of Lords. Baron Sankey will move: “That the system of trial of peers by peers has outlived its usefulness.’’—British Official Wireless.
