ITALY’S FRUIT AND VEGETABLES SUBSTITUTE FUEL SOUGHT. (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) ROME, February 1. A Royal Decree has created a special national committee to discipline the production, distribution and cale of fruit and vegetables. Another will regulate glassware, pottery and a third will control hemp. While the League Committee :s investigating the-possibility of imposing oil sanctions, the Italian technical committee is seeking a substitute fuel and is drawing up schemes for enabling commercial vehicles to change over to it. TWO DAYS’ HEAVY FICHTING. SEYOUM REPORTED VICTORIOUS. (Received This Day, 9.55 a.m.) ADDIS ABABA, February 4. Ras Seyonm is reported to he victorious after two days’ heavy fighting 18 miles south of Adigrat.
