TURKEY’S REPLY TO ITALY.

LEAGUE OBLIGATIONS FIRST. SUPPORT OF BRITAIN PLEDGED. (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) ROME, February 4. The Committee of National Defence will consider Italy’s relations with contiguous Mediterranean Powers. Officials do not disguise their disappointment over Turkey’s, reply to the Italian inquiry whether her assurances of support for Britain in the event of unjustifiable aggression were not a breach of the Turkish-Italian Treaty of Friendship of 1928.
