EXAMINER'S BLUNDER.

MISTAKES IN SIMPLE ADDITION.

(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 16. Mistakes in simple addition by a University examiner in music have led the executive committee of the New Zealand University Senate to stand him aside for at least two .years. The committee reported to the Senate that all the entrance examination scripts had been returned to the university office, and the additions - checked in selected scripts in each subject. In music many errors were discovered and the committee resolved that the examiner should not act again before 1938. The committee also mentioned that the 1933 French scripts had been remarked, and that two additional candidates had been passed.
