PALMER TO STAY IN AUSTRALIA.
MELBOURNE, January 16. Ambrose Palmer stated to-day that a specialist had advised his wife not to take the risk of making the trip to England. He will therefore remain in Australia, disregarding the prospects of future fights in England.
