AMERICAN PROCESSING TAXES.

(United Press Association— Copyright.) WASHINGTON, January 14. The Supreme Court ruled unanimously that 200,000,000 dollars of processing taxes collected by the Agricultural Adjustment Administration and impounded by the courts, must be returned to the taxpayers. On January 6, the United States Supreme Court ruled by six votes to three that the entire Agricultural Adjustment Administration programme was unconstitutional. This was stated to complete the destruction o* the New Deal which began when the National Recovery Act was declared unconstitutional. In addition to the loss of 200,000,000-dollars in impounded taxes, the Government is faced with the need to find an additional 6fKi.ooo.oofTfiollnrs which it hoped to get from the processing tax.
