A correspondent of the "Sun-Her-ald" service says that experts believe aerial warfare may be revolutionised by a monoplane based on geodetic construction, invented Dy B. N. Wallis (designer of the dirigible R 100). The "Daily Express" says that the monoplane is constructed with waferthin spars, and tubes could be riddled by bullets without collapsing. The Air Ministry has placed a large order with Vickers, Ltd. The "Morning Post's" aviation writer says that geodetic construction will permit of sensational increases iii speed, range and load.
