SPORTS ATTRACTIONS.

FIXTURES FOR TQ-MGROW. After missing two Saturdays on account of holidays, the Ashburton County Cricket Association competitions will re-commence to-morrow, when the last series in the second round will be played. There will be two bowling matches in Ashburton. The sub-centre’s match between Mid-Canterbury and Ellesmere will be on the Allenton green, and the Ashburton Club will play Shirley (Christchurch) on the Ashburton green. Friendly tennis games will be played on Ashburton courts.
