ALLEGED THEFT.
ACCUSED STOREMAN REMANDED. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, Jan. 2. Arrested on a charge of stealing five hundredweight of tin valued at £6O, Charles Bold, a storeman, aged 44, employed by the Railways Department, was remanded to-day by Mr Luxford, S.M. fi'he tin is alleged to have been stolen from the Department at Moera, about December 2, and the police, in asking for a remand, said that the total amount involved would be more than £IOOO. Bail was fixed at £2OO.
