A BRIEF RESPITE ENJOYED. (Per Press Association). AUCKLAND, January 2. For the first time since the election the Prime Minister (the Hon. M. JSavage) enjoyed something of a respite to-day when, after attending to some official busines, he took a holiday. Yesterday he attended the races at Eller she. Ou Sunday afternoon Mr Savage will be given a Maori welcome in his capacity of Native Minister by residents of Orakei, and on Sunday evening he will leave foi the south for a Cabinet meeting next Wednesday.
