The Ven. Archdeacon A. J. Petrie, accompanied by his wife and daughter, have left Ashburton on a motor camping tour to the Clarence River and Awatere.

The Rev. R. S. Watson, of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Ashburton, left on the relief express this morning to attend. the Presbyterian Bible Class and Sunday Schools’ Conference „at Dunedin. He will he one of the chief speakers at the mass gatherings in connection with the conference.
