SHORT DEBATE LIKELY
REPLY TO THE KING’S SPEECH. United Press Association —Copyright) LONDON, November 28. The swearing-in of members of both Houses of Parliament continued today. The debate in the House of Commons on the Address-in-Reply to the King’s speech, which will be begun on Tuesday after the State opening of Parliament by bis Majesty, expected to last for the rest of the week. Opinion in political circles is that the Government will not proceed with its major measures before Christmas, as a certain amount of business brought forward from the last Parliament calls for immediate attention. —British Official Wireless.
