CHAPEL DEDICATED

MEMORIAL TO CARDINAL CERRETTI. SAINTS’ RELICS FROM VATICAN. SYDNEY, Nov. 14. A beautiful white chapel at St. Patrick’s College, Manly, to we known as the National Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament and the Cerretti Memorial, was consecrated to-day byt the Cb-adjutor Archbishop of Sydney, Dr. Michael Sheehan, in the presence of many church dignitaries.

Relics of the martyrs St. Benedict and the virgin Saint, St. Reparata, were sent from the Vatican in six silver containers, one being placed in the sepulchre at each altar. At a function in the Town Hall before the consecration, the Lord Mayor, Mr Arthur McElhone, said that Sydney was glad to know that the magnificent seminary' had been so adequately and suitably completed. The Archbishop of Brisbane, Dr. Duhig, said the whole Roman Catholic population of Australia had participated in the suitable perpetuation of the memory of Cardinal Cerretti’s association with Australia.
