HARRY LISTER’S' GAMINESS.
HIS MATCH WITH RODERICK. (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, November 1. Ernie Roderick, who defeated Harry Lister on points in a 10-round bout yesterday, is probably the best welterweight in England. He is much cleverer than Lister, whose grit was applauded. The “Daily Dispatch,” remarking that Lister is probably not acclimatised, said that Roderick had Lister beaten in everything except gameness.
