TRAINING COLLEGE OPENED.
“SWORD TO DEFEND PEACE.”

The Berlin correspondent of “The Times” says that, following the creation of the staff college for the combined fighting services, and the reopening of the Army War Academy, Herr Hitler, in the presence of General von Bloxnberg and General yon Fritseh Goering, opened the staff training College of the air arm at Gatow. The college is a huge complex group of buildings, the aerodrome trilining ground covering 1000 acres, built in a year. .- v • General Goering complimented Heir Hitler on his inspired labours, and declared that the prompt erection oT the academy symbolised the unshakeable will whereby the entire air arm had been so speedily created. “This will, and must, inspire the academy and guarantee Germany aii security, because only a strong sword can defend peace,” he said.
