RICH FISHERIES
NORTH-WEST AUSTRALIAN WATERS*. JAPANESE TRIAL TRAWLING. (United Press Association —Copyright) (Received This Day, 9.30 a..m.) TOKIO, October 31. The Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries states that the director of the Bureau (Mr Shimoda) recently surveyed North-West Australian waters. Ho reported that they are ten times richer than Tokkaido waters, especially in sea bream, Japan’s most popular fish. He recommended exploitation, for which a trawler will shortly proceed on a trial voyage.
