TO-DAY’S FORECAST. / (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Government Meteorologist, at noon to-day, issued the following statement regarding the weather: — General inference: An anticyclone over New Zealand is centred to the north while slight low pressure waves are passing to the south. The forecast for the east coast of tht> South Island from Blenheim to Oamaru is as follows: Moderate to fresh westerly winds. Weather fair to fine and mild. Seas moderate.
