(Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, October 8. Owing to the illness of the Duke of Buccleuch, Lady Alice Montague-Seott will be give* away by h6r brother, the Earl of Dalkeith, who is a, great friend of the Duke of Gloucester.
The wadding, which will be at 11.30 at the Abbey, will be preceded by uuree precessions; firstly, his Majesty, with an escort of Household Cavalry; secondly tlie Duke of Gloucester with a similar escort; and thirdly, the bride from her residence at Grosvenor Plhce. Afterward: the couple will go to the Palace via. the Mall, Piccadilly and Constitution Hill.

An announcement from Buckingham Palace states that beiore the Duke of Gloucester’s wedding, the King and Queen will give an evening party on November 4 at Buckingham Palace and an afternoon party on November 5 at St. James’ Place.' It is expected that the parties will follow the lines of those which preceded the wedding of the Duke of Kent. Detween 1500 and 2000 guests will probably be invited.— British Official Wireless.
