NINTH 1 ANNUAL MEETING.

EIGHT EVENTS FOR. TO-MORROW

The Methven Trotting Club will hold its ninth annual meeting on the Mount Harding racecourse to-morrow, and it has completed arrangements for wha appears will be one of the best meetings the club has held. The track is said to be in excellent order. There are eight events on the programme, and the general class of horse to be engaged is very good. The first event is timed to start at 12.15 o’clock, and as the time between races has been shortened, ft decision that will b© welcomed by patrons, tbe last is timed to start at 4.25 o’clock. It is expected that if the weather conditions of to-day continue into tomorrow there will be a record attendance.
