TENNIS.

THE LOWCUFFE CLUB. The annual meeting of the Lowcliffe Tennis Club was held in the school, Mr H. Simmons presiding over a good attendance. In his report the president referred to the successful season the club had had, and expressed the hope that the coming season would be equally successful. The balance-sheet showed a substantial credit.

It was decided to have a working bee to-morrow to top-dress the courts. The opening day was fixed for (Saturday, when a Yankee tournament will be played. The election of officers resulted: President, Sir H. Simmons j club captain. Air W l . McKeage; vice-captain, Mr D. M. Bruce; secretary-treasurer, Air W. J. Armstrong, junr.
