THE ALL BLACKS
THE “UNBEATEN” FETISH.
RELIEF BY SWANSEA MATCH.
PATENT LESSON TO BE LE ARNED.
(United Press Association—Copyright). (Received This Day, 9.25 a m.) LONDON, October 1. The special Rugby critic of the “Daily Mail” says that while warning optimists against assuming from the match at Swansea that international matches will be plain sailing, he thinks it all for the good of the New Zealanders. They will be thus early relieved of the unbeaten, fetish, but the Ail Blacks must learn the patent lesson that the three-four-one scrum does not work. Their heeling and quick packing are excellent, but. the pack cannot heel, much less get the ball without strong power, which the All Blacks lack.
