The handicapping committee of the New Zealand Trotting Conference has assessed two Australian pacers, Evicus and Emilius Way, and the two horses will leave Sydney for New Zealand in a few days. Evicus has been placed on 2min 10'sec,
2min 43sec and 4min 27sec, and. is thus eligible to compete' in the New Zealand Trotting Cup, for which she will be entered., Emilius Way is on 2min 9see, 2mm 42sec ancll 4min 30sec, and will compete in suitable races at the November meeting at Addington.
A.J.C. SCRATCHINGS. (Received This Day, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY 7 , This Day. Scratchmere Scar has been withdrawn from all A.J.C. engagements, and it is considered there is no chance of Sporting Blood competing at the Randwick carnival. Barak, who was the popular choice for the Epsom, is now lame.
